• Cook details: business name, owner name, address for pickup, phone number and any photos you upload.
• Order details: what you bought, from whom, when, amounts, tips and delivery choice.
• Messages you send to cooks or to us through the contact form.
• Reviews and photos you post.
• Emails left on the launch waiting list, with the area you named.
• Basic technical data such as your browser type and error reports, used to keep the site working.

• To create your account and sign you in.
• To pass orders to the cook so they can prepare and hand over your food.
• To send service emails such as confirmations, password resets and order updates.
• To review kitchen applications and calculate commission.
• To keep the marketplace safe, prevent fraud and handle complaints.
• To tell you when we open in an area you asked about.

Cooks see the name, contact details and order details needed to fulfil your order. We use service providers for hosting, database, and email delivery, who process data on our instructions. We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising profiling. We may disclose information where the law requires it.

Account and order records are kept while your account is open and for as long as needed for tax and dispute purposes afterwards. Contact messages and launch-list emails are kept until they are no longer needed. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Depending on where you live, you may ask for a copy of your data, correction of it, deletion, or restriction of certain uses, and you may object to processing or complain to your local data protection authority. Email hello@happybelly.food and we will respond within the time your law allows.

HappyBelly is not for people under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Data is stored on secured, access-controlled servers and transmitted over encrypted connections. Because we operate across several countries, information may be processed outside the country you live in, with appropriate safeguards in place.
